MIDI instructions become a shareable audio file
A MIDI file is a performance plan, not a recording. It describes notes, timing, velocity, channels, program changes, tempo, and meter. Converting MIDI to MP3 therefore requires an instrument engine to perform those events before an audio encoder can create the final file.
This converter first reads your file locally so you can confirm its duration, tempo, tracks, and note count without uploading anything. When you explicitly start an export, the browser sends the MIDI directly to private temporary storage. An isolated server renderer performs the arrangement with a General MIDI SoundFont, creates WAV audio, and encodes MP3 at 320 kbps when MP3 is selected.
The result is designed for quick listening, sharing, practice, reference tracks, and applications that cannot play MIDI directly. It will not reproduce proprietary instruments, effects, automation, or mix processing from the DAW project that originally created the sequence.
