One clear unit
Credits measure completed exports, not minutes or file size.
A short single-track MIDI and a longer multitrack arrangement each reserve 1 Credit when the Conversion Job is accepted. If the renderer reaches a terminal failure or timeout, that reservation is returned once to its original Credit Grant.
Viewing and playback do not consume Credits. Your file stays in the browser until you explicitly start a cloud export.

The practical details behind Credits and subscriptions.
What does one Credit include?
One Credit covers one successful MIDI export to either 320 kbps MP3 or uncompressed WAV. A terminal conversion failure or timeout refunds the reserved Credit once.
Do Export Pack Credits expire?
No. Credits purchased in the 10-Credit Export Pack remain available until used. Subscription Credits are tied to their billing period and expire when that period ends.
Can I cancel a subscription?
Yes. You can cancel from the secure Stripe Customer Portal. Access and unused subscription Credits remain available until the current paid period ends.
Are viewing and MIDI playback still free?
Yes. Opening, inspecting, visualizing, and playing supported MIDI files stays free and local in your browser. Credits are only required for cloud MP3 or WAV exports.
How are my payment details handled?
Checkout, payment details, invoices, and subscription payment methods are handled by Stripe. midiviewer.io does not store your card number.
